Why a Universal RPG engine?
Mainly because I find half of the supposedly "universal" RPGs on the market about as universal as a urinal, and the other half require you to hold multiple advanced degrees to do anything with.
I wanted a system that allows you to dress it up in whatever garb you want, but is basically the same whether your game takes place in the time before man recorded history or starts on stardate 26417.9.
A game that is both intuitive to use but is capable of complexity should you desire.
